I didn’t start in one lane, that’s intentional.
My work has taken me through animal welfare, emergency response, investigations, higher education, and human services. Across all of it, the common thread has been people in crisis and the systems meant to support them.
I focus on helping individuals in austere environments, such as the streets of our local communities. My approach is centered on bringing services to where people are, prioritizing in-person, field-based engagement rather than relying solely on office-based or referral-driven models. I’m focused on person-led work, meeting individuals in their environments and responding to needs as they present in real time, rather than expecting them to navigate fragmented systems on their own.
Alongside direct service work, I have coordinated projects and facility enhancements aimed at increasing service capacity and improving how programs operate under real-world constraints. I also support nonprofits in strengthening operations, adapting through challenges, and improving service delivery during periods of growth or instability. That includes clarifying workflows, supporting cross-team coordination, and helping organizations respond effectively to capacity pressures. I use techniques like motivational interviewing to bring others onto a project team and provide the internal guidance for success.
Earlier in my career, I managed complex investigative caseloads and worked closely with law enforcement and community partners. That experience shaped how I approach my work now: thinking critically, communicating clearly, and operating effectively in environments where there isn’t always a clear answer.
I’m interested in learning how your systems function, focusing on the constraints, imperfections, and the lived experiences of all. My approach is grounded in clarity, accountability, and person-focused outcomes. Do reach out if you are interested in collaborating.
